This video is just one example of how a group of students from Indonesia visiting a Japanese school in the countryside of Nara Prefecture spent their day with the local students. Enjoy!
As part of the school group trip to Japan, participants visit a local Japanese school where they engage in activities with Japanese students of their age/equivalent grade/year.
Not only do students get to see an alternative schooling system with their own eyes, they also get to interact with Japanese students, enhancing their communication skills while also increasing cultural awareness; and in the process realise both the differences and similarities that exist.
This is an invaluable element to add to any school trip to Japan, as it allows participants to see what life is like for a Japanese student, broaden their perspective, and ignite a life-long interest in them for studying Japanese and or studying in Japan.
